Half the World Away - by Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two of the most notable covers the artist has done. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway with her voice, gave the song a boost of recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as a job or a hobby, but as an opportunity to improve. Thus, she began writing her own songs. In addition to Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother was supportive of her performing her music publicly, not so that she could achieve fame, but rather to let others know that they matter and what they can do for humanity. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. The family did not know until the age of 14. Aurora had no idea of being a famous singer. Her only passion is to write music. For her, music is the best method of feeling anything.
